Frequently asked questions/ T&Cs
While we are Mornington Peninsula locals, we service anywhere in Victoria and can even help you move interstate.
We offer fixed quotes for complete jobs as well as hourly fixed quotes. This means we won’t charge you extra if the move takes longer due to unforeseeable circumstances (traffic, etc). All our quotes (including in-person quotes) are free of charge.
Master Movers has a large fleet of trucks to help you with your next move. Unlike smaller trucks you can hire and drive yourself, our trucks require a truck license due to their size. Due to the space they offer, we can move everything in one go rather than charge you more to do multiple trips.
Absolutely! Moving is just as stressful – if not more – for your pets. We’re a pet-friendly company that ensures your pets (and their favourite toy!) are moved safely.
While our team uses high-quality materials and are expert packers, accidents can happen. In the rare case something is lost or damaged, the Master Movers team is fully insured and backed by Allianz and Marine Transit Insurance, and they will submit a claim for you.
Master Movers requires that any insurance claims are made within 48 hours of your move date.
Master Movers will not remove possessions that have not been safely packed and ready to move
Please be advised that cartons, bags or any utensils not packed by our Master Packers cannot be insured.
When storing with Master Movers, clients are welcome to access their own units, however our insurance no longer covers goods past this point.
Despite the complex nature of things like pianos and pool tables, our team’s knowledge and experience means we can assist, so you don’t need to outsource.
Please note that whilst we are happy for clients to assist on move day, goods are no longer insured by Master Movers if they have been handled by the client after the job has commenced. It is always recommended that you let our team move any fragile or heavy items.
Master Movers offers both long and short term storage solutions on the Mornington Peninsula.
If a client would like to have access to their own storage unit so that they can come and go, goods are no longer insured by us and the client will need to organise their own insurance.

On the day of the move, David, Cam and Reyen turned up right on time and set to work quickly and carefully loading our belongings into the truck. We weren’t as organised as we would have liked but they made us feel like nothing was too much trouble, they asked for (and listened to) instructions where needed, and are a very friendly and capable team.
All in all the move was done and dusted in 5 hours and our personal effects were handled with respect and care. While we hope not to require their services again any time soon, we know we’d be in great hands if we did.
